Auchan’s digital transformation initiative required a new ecommerce platform implementation.
The eCommerce team was relatively new and actively engaged in numerous internal projects.
eCommerce architecture involved more than 15 integrations and systems, +10 vendors and + 5 internal teams involvement.
Auchan was in search of a project that demanded both speed and complexity.
→ PMO role for the entire re-platforming project
→ Coordination of the Discovery phase, gathering business requirements, and aligning all internal stakeholders on project priorities and milestones
→ Scope of Work & dev specifications preparation
→ Project supervision and weekly reporting to the Management team, ensuring on-time project delivery
→ Documenting the project, coordinating training & testing, and going live with the project
→ 2.5 Full Project Managers assigned from Digital Kitchen
→ 7 months project duration after assignment of all roles & vendors team preparation
→ Dedicated working groups and teams were built, fully coordinated by the Digital Kitchen team (both internal and external teams)
→ Daily monitoring of all team activities, and task assignments, conducting all internal and external meetings
→ Project Steering, Operational Management meetings coordination
